BathZones, trading for Allbits Plumbing Supplies (Romney) Ltd has been succesfully trading for 18 years. This internet site trades from our New Romney branch, which currently employs 10 staff. The branch hosts a large showroom and also a plumbing trade counter.

We realise the importance of quality service and strive to provide this to our customers, before and after the sale.

How to Order

Online payment with Paypal or Google allows you to pay using a Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Maestro card or by using an already registered account. This is for your maximum protection. Goods will only be delivered to a PayPal or Google confirmed address, thus minimizing the risk of your card being used illegally. In addition you will be covered by the PayPal Buyer Protection scheme in addition to your normal rights.

Do I need to have a Paypal or Google account to order?

No. During the check out stage, you are securly transfered to the Paypal or Google payments page. Here, you are given the choice to pay by either;

Logging into an existing account. Or,

Pay by Credit or Debit card. Paypal or Google will simply and securly collect your billing and delivery address and credit/debit card details to complete the transaction.

Please Note: Any delivery charges can quickly be checked as you browse our site. A shopping basket summary is shown at the top of each page. Delivery charges are recalculated each time your shopping basket changes. All prices shown include VAT @15%. There are no hidden costs!

Returns Policy

If goods are damaged or faulty
• Please contact us within 48 Hours of delivery so that we can get a replacement to you. If you contact us after this period we are unable supply you with any replacements.

If you have received the wrong item

• Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve any issues.

Goods correctly supplied against your confirmed order cannot be returned.

A refund will ONLY be given if all of the above conditions are met.

Order Acceptance and Processing

All orders are accepted when your credit/charge/debit card is processed. Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email.

www.bathzones.co.uk reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.

All specifications are approximate only and the seller shall have no liability in respect of any deviation therefrom.

The seller shall have no liability in the event of the goods infringing or being alleged to infringe the rights of any third party. In the event that the goods are or maybe the subject of third party rights, the seller shall be obliged to transfer any such title he has but without prejudice to the rights of a consumer for a remedy in the event of total or partial non-performance.

Cancellation of Orders

If you cancel your order you will be given a cancellation number. If you email a cancellation this number will be emailed to you, if you telephone to cancel then the customer services representative will provide the number over the telephone. You must keep a record of this number. Orders are only cancelled once this number is provided and any claims that an order was cancelled will not be entertained unless a cancellation number can be quoted.

Delivery of Goods

The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods.

Delivery may be effected in one or more installments.

Changes to the delivery address made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company will incur an additional charge of £15.00 for APC or £38 for our own transport.

Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for a plumber to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

If for any reason expected delivery will exceed 14 days from the date of receipt of order the customer will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel the order.

In certain circumstances where large bulky items are being ordered for delivery to very remote locations there may be an additional carriage charge. If your order falls into this category then you will be notified of the extra cost and given the option of accepting the extra charge or cancelling your order.

Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under English law, www.bathzones.co.uk accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, draught, fire, legislation or other factors outside it's control,or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or similar, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases www.bathzones.co.uk will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from www.bathzones.co.uk with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment.

Pricing Errors

In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then www.bathzones.co.uk will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying BathZones

You agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 48 hours of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 48 hours we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 48 hours.

We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returns

Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site . If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused. The delivery of the goods to you is a seperate contract for services and is not covered by the cooling off period,therefore any refund made will not include the costs of delivery of the goods to you.
